It was midnight when they reached Eeyrie Crag. Raven was tired. flying took a lot of effort. From the height in the sky, she scanned the surrounding area for a place for camp.
"Over there?"
Raven pointed to a small clearing, perfect for both of their tents. Not waiting to see if Talorian had noticed it too, she swooped down between the trees and landed with a thud. Yes, this place was definitely perfect for them, the canopy of green leaves above shadowed the ground and the thick trees around them hid them from the werewolves around. Raven smiled. This was pretty much perfect.

Talorian glanced down to the clearing from which Raven had pointed. "perfect" he whispered. following Ravens lead he descended towards the glade and with an almost perfect landing he touchdown next to her. Having a quick look at his surroundings he found that the clearing was about the best they could achieve in this situation. "not bad.." he said with a nod and smile.
It's gonna be a long day tomorrow. His mind wandered to there purpose here.. Bruxsa, how could he? He shoved the thoughts out of his mind. He'd deal with them tomorrow he decided. Smiling at Raven he began to set up camp.

Raven smirked to herself. She was glad she'd spotted this place. She nearly flew right over it. Raven took her bag and pulled out an average canvas tent, spoked it in the ground and pulled every string tight into a nice prism shaped home. She smiled to herself before pulling out a small pan and a bowl from her bag and setting it down on the ground. She walked over to Talorian and asked sheepishly.
"You hungry? Because I saw a stream over ahead, so I thought I might go fishing."
She smiled softly, hoping he would help her, because even from a young age, she had been absolutely rubbish at fishing.

Glancing up from his tent, Talorian knew she needed his help, but decided to play along anyway. "yeh im a bit peckish, you mind if i join you? Two's better then one" he replied with a warming smile.
as he saw Raven nod her head, he picked up a small pan from the confines of his bag and headed through the thick trees towards the small stream in the south, with Raven following at his side. "Havnt been fishing in a while?" he asked, grinning at Raven.

Raven smiled and looked him up and down. "Well, it has been rather a long time since. What about you, Talorian? Am I working with a skilled fisherman?" She chuckled, not waiting for his reply. She looked into his bright blue eyes and thought she would be nosy this evening. "So, Talorian, tell me about yourself. I'm inquisitive ." She smirked, easing the atmosphere, hoping he would talk.

"experienced?" he chuckled to himself softly. "every now and then maybe. Its just not much fun, I prefer a bit of target practice with my bow back there" he said while nodding back at camp.
It took him a while to answer her question as he thoughts raced over his past. Not knowing what to answer with, he simply replied "Well you know, born, raised in the forest spent pretty much my entire time by myself. The life of a hunter eh?" he said smiling at Raven. "i like to keep me to myself"
The river slowly came into view through the mass of trees, and the scene before them breath-taking. The bright moon, and clear skies was reflecting of the soft clear stream. The silver fish could be clearly seen as they made slight ripples above and about 1/4 mile downstream the river meandered and went out site, only to be replaced with a cluster of trees. The embankment was lined with reeds and water lillies, which stirred softly in the remote wind. As the two hunters made they towards it Talorian whispered into her ear. "and this is why.."

Talorian's breath caressed her pale skin and tingle of a long suppressed emotion ran across her heart. Raven took in the scenery around her, a soft smile on her face. The peace and serenity of these kind of moments never wore thin on her heart. She shivered, the crisp cool air tickling her arms. She turned to Talorian, his blue eyes surveying the scene.
"This is beautiful. I don't tend to stop and look when I'm fighting werewolves."
She smiled again, surprised at the comfortable atmosphere between them. It had been a long while since such a moment. She looked at his face, the bone structure showing defined cheek bones and a strong chin. Quite the manly appearance. She placed a apprehensive hand on his cheek, and smiled at him.
Not now Raven. Not now. You're going to ruin everything. Just. Like. Before.

"Sure his" he whispered quietly, more to himself then to Raven. The light touch of her hand startled him, bringing him out of his daze. Placing his own hand gently atop of hers, he gazed softly into her eyes. Seeing more in them then he had ever seen before, a hidden sorrow, a deep pain, seeing a slow torment from an unwelcomed past, masked in the confident and alluring form. He suddenly understood, more then he'd ever done, about who she was.
From high in the trees a sudden movement made him glance him up, and in the briefest of time, he flung Raven out of the way, the snarling beast landing on top of his chest, the razorsharp claws digging their way in. The force of the impact knocking them both to the ground, Talorian at the disadvantage.

She stared back as he held her hand against his. She couldn't look away, his illuminous blue eyes like an ocean that she wanted to swim. She knew he was not just staring into her eyes but into her and for a moment she wanted to break the gaze. But she couldn't. It was only when she felt herself being thrown to the ground that she woke up and remembered why they were here.
In front of her, Talorian lay, a mighty grey beast on top of him. She could hear the growl from within the lycan's throat and for the first time in many years, she felt fear pass through her. She only let it hold her for a second before she pulled her sword from her sheath, got up from the damp floor and ran at the werewolf that was almost devouring the hunter.
